We moved to "the woods" outside Bend in November and enjoy our new surroundings every day. The deer have found the food we put out for the birds and visit every day. We also have several very plump gray squirrels and tons of chickadees that come. We hear coyotes but have yet to see them. Matisse is not looking forward to a rematch with the coyotes that left him scarred in L.A. and refuses to even step foot outside. The girls love hiking to the Butte behind our house as do we.

Beautiful. So opposite from Encino.- Erika
ReplyDeleteOh what's wrong with Encino? We have all those pretty blue and red lights on top of the police cars that come by. What's not to love?
ReplyDeleteExuisite Lizzie! Just love it. I guess you really are not in "Kansas" anymore, eh?-Amy
